Francoeur Freefall
One day as I stewed
And started to brood
A shy girl came on to me
I asked this fine dame
What is your name?
She said Tina, it starts with a T
If ever there were
A sweeter francoeur
I surely could not surmise
In the time that it took
To give her a look
I was entranced by her eyes
So we went on a date
And as if it were fate
She wore PJs and got “Nude”
After date number two
A bike ran her through
Then for date number three she ate food
To be a proper lady
Only then was she ready
For the four letter F-word with ease
So as we sat there
Sans one single care
She drew up and cut the cheese
The ardour that grew
Might give you a clue
About my feelings for she
I’ll give you a hint
If it were mint
We’d bathe in tea naturally
Seems I reeled in a prize
Though did not realize
I was even fishing to start
I keep letting go
But wouldn’t you know
This carp leaps back in my heart
